Permanent, part-time, 24.5 hours per weekThe CSP is the trade union and educational, professional organisation for the UKs 59,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.The Council for Allied Health Professions Research (CAHPR) develops allied health profession research, strengthening evidence to give value and impact. CAHPR comprises a strategy committee, professoriate and a UK-wide network of research hubs.In this busy and varied role, you will co-ordinate CAHPRs on-going development, including managing and monitoring the CAHPR budget. Your role will take the lead on communication between CAHPR and relevant committees through reports and updates, acting as the primary contact for the regional hub leads and facilitators. You will also manage and develop the CSPs process for handling abstracts for the annual Physiotherapy UK Scientific Conference.With a UK or equivalent appropriate postgraduate qualification, you must have a professional qualification providing eligibility for UK registration as a Physiotherapist and membership of the CSP. Experience of developing small-scale projects and co-ordinating activity within a similar organisation are a must, as is a track record of organising meetings and workshop-style sessions.
