Job Description

DCD are looking to recruit 3 individuals to join the Board of Trustees. The DCD Board is an engaged group of individuals who support DCDs dynamic and committed leadership and staff team to deliver our strategy and vision for the future.Trustee/Directors are responsible for the governance of the charitable company and guiding its strategic direction. The Board meets four times a year. Additional time may be required for subgroup committee meetings and engagement with the Executive Director and team on specific ideas and projects. Board members are actively encouraged to attend DCD events which take place in London and across the UK. We are seeking people with a diverse range of cultural interests and genuine enthusiasm for a broad range of dance styles, who can help DCD reach new generations of dancers.Further details can be found in our Candidates Briefing Document.We are seeking a commitment for a period of a minimum of 3 years. Previous experience of being on a Board is not required; induction and training is provided.
