Job Description

Calling all payrollers, I have a fantastic opportunity for a Temporary Payroller to start ASAP for around 3 months - this has come about due to them bringing the outsourced payroll in-house.Payroll Analyst responsibilities include reviewing payroll data and documents for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payments are made on time. To be successful in this role, you shouldhave excellent analytical skills with the ability to spot numerical errors.Responsibilities

  • Help with data entry (New starters / Transfers)
  • Prepare and submit all necessary paperwork to the payroll provider for any Adhoc adjustment. (i.e Court Orders)
  • Process Manually Statutory Maternity Pay for small list of employees.
  • Calculate and Process Balance of Salary for any Term time only Leavers as well as for maternity returners.
  • Answer employees’ questions about salaries, tax and statutory pay.
  • Be able to identify and fix any type of payroll errors.
  • Agree, Calculate and process advances if and when is required.
  • Process opt-out pension data
  • Deal and process Salary Finance data
  • Analyse compensation-related data including wages and bonuses
  • Report to management on payroll issues and changes.
  • Help with final payroll report check.
  • Upload benefit report.
  • Post payroll report for Finance.
  • Post payroll overpayment reconciliation.
  • Help and support Contract Managers on pay queries.
Requirements and skills
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of UK payroll and tax regulations
  • Ability to manually calculate Statutory Pay, Tax and NI.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software
  • Good Excel and reconciliation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • The ability to work under tight deadlines.
This role offers flexibility of anything from 27-37.5 hours a week, free parking etcThe role will be office based.So,if you are out of work, have in-depth knowledge of payroll then I need to hear from you!
