Paraplanner - £45k plus study supportAre you looking for a stable well-run firm that can offer you not only a career, but also job securityOne of our long-standing clients based in lovely offices in Hertfordshire are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to help support their expanding team of Advisers. Having worked with this firm for a couple of years, we have got to know the management team very well and have been impressed with the quality of service they provide their clients and support and training they give their staff.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of practical experience as a Paraplanner and be level 4 Diploma qualified, having gained solid technical experience around Pensions and Investments. Working in a team of Paraplanners, you will be working closely with all of the Advisers in the firm, getting to know their clients and build effective working relationships with them. The firm are very client centric and you will be encouraged to get to know the clients personally as well as attend virtual client’s meetings with the Advisers and eventually face to face meetings, once the staff are all back in the office.They can offer two distinct career paths, the first being a Paraplanner to Adviser route. The second one is progression to a Paraplanning Team Supervisor role at a point in the future, acting as the technical point of contact for both Advisers and more junior Paraplanners. Full on the job training and support will be given to allow you to pursue either career path, along with full study support, to enable you to obtain your Chartered status.This role will be home based in the short term, once you have been trained up on their systems and procedures.To be eligible for this Paraplanning role, you must be Level 4 Diploma qualified and have worked as a Paraplanner for at least 4 years.
