Job Description

My client is in the Waste and Recycling sector. Based in Wellington, They believe in cultivating both personal and company growth and work to maintain an excellent business reputation in an ever evolving industry. The innovations team design and manufactureour pioneering Bio-Processors in-house.They are looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual , a Workshop / Assembly Technician to join their Bio-Processor Production Team, manufacturing food waste processing machines. You will be working in a small team so must be self-motivated with a can-doattitude. You will be responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly of the Bio-Processors.Previous experience in mechanical assembly, mechanical repairs or similar is desired. Full induction and internal training will be given.Job Role of the workshop/ assembly Technician

  • Assembling bespoke machinery that has been designed and fabricated in house
  • Cutting materials to size with the use of technical drawings and jigs
  • Gluing plastic components together to create assemblies
  • Fitting control panels and wiring looms
  • Fitting other electric components
  • Fitting electric motors
  • Installation of large mechanical items i.e. motors and gearboxes
  • Other mechanical installations
  • Factory Testing and quality assurance
  • Utilising and completing Build Checklists
  • Working closely with our design team to develop and improve our machines
  • Occasional on-site, customer facing, new machine installations (accompanied)
Package and benefits£21,000 - £25,000 Depending on experience, overtime opportunities Company pension schemeSchedule: 40 hours per week, Mon-Thursday 8:00AM - 5:00OPM, Friday 8:00AM - 2:30PM Death in service policy - 4x salary22 Days annual leave + Christmas closure
