JOB TITLE: Print Operative(You may have worked as a Machine Operator, Print Operative, Print Machine Operative, Print Room Operator or any other role where you have managed and operated machine specific functions).LOCATION: Wellington, SomersetSALARY: £11 Per HourHOURS: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours, no shifts and paid breaks!)BENEFITS: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, paid breaks, no shifts, Christmas shutdown, Contributory Pension Scheme, Healthcare Plan, annual bonus, friendly and welcoming team orientated environment.THE COMPANY: A family-owned business based in the heart of Somerset with a reputation for quality and exceptional service. You will use leading machine technology to produce packaging with a range of finishes and designs. You will be working with a fantastic team who provide customers with high levels of quality and support that helps the business grow from strengthto strength.KEY DUTIES AS A MACHINE OPERATOR:

• Working as part of a larger production team you will ensure that the scheduled jobs are completed in good time so that customer deadlines are met.
• Once trained, you will enjoy working unsupervised and will take responsibility of productive output and serviceability of your machine.
• You will read and follow the information on a job ticket so that the customer receives what they have asked for every time.
• Ensuring that all relevant quality checks and measures are followed to a high standard for every job.
• You will have a right first time mindset, in order to reduce re-work and re-runs that effect the productivity of the team.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Manufacturing experience - you will be operating manufacturing machinery so will therefore be familiar with this environment and machinery.
• A logical, problem solving attitude - an aptitude for setting, operating and maintaining technical machinery.
• Focused on productivity - taking pride in reducing change over times and increasing machine efficiency.
• Confident communicator - working in a small team environment you will work well in a team environment.
• Keen eye for detail - you will be able to successfully quality check your work and spot any discrepancies to rectify.
