Job Description

Established in 1975, our client is the UKs largest manufacturer of folding bicycles. With all of their products manufactured in the UK and distributed to over 47 countries worldwide, they continue to grow to meet customer demands.Due to the increase in production of the Titanium bike, they now have an urgent requirement for Welding Support Operatives to join them at their base in Sheffield.The job:As a Welding Support Operative you role will encompass but not be limited to the following:

  • Book in materials from suppliers
  • Book out materials for the weld team ensuring sufficient supplies for the days production
  • Operate machinery safely
  • Produce parts to achieve targets and quality standards
  • Inspect incoming fabricated parts
The Person:
  • Must have a "can do" attitude
  • Be able to work on own initiative
  • Be organised, flexible and persistent
  • Have a good command of spoken and written English
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Be willing to undergo training to become a welder
  • Understand Health and Safety in the workplace
