We are currently recruiting for a Contract Quality and performance manager in Wakefeild on a temporary 6 month basis.The Contract Quality and performance manager will be working with the Council on the demobilisation of an existing contract and will have good overall contract management experience and a long understanding of FM/property and projectsThe post holder will act as the Council’s quality and performance monitoring officer in relation to service delivered through the Corporate Landlord including those delivered via Security, Waste and Grounds Maintenance. To provide data and performance informationin order to proactively manage contracts and services being delivered. To participate in and contribute to the management of the Council’s corporate activities, initiatives and strategic developments to ensure the Council’s corporate priorities are met. Tomonitor and manage the performance and quality of services being delivered to the Council and its stakeholders. Ensure that the activities and performance of the service contribute to the aims and objectives of the Council and in so doing ensure the Council’scorporate priorities are achieved and maintained.Experience requiredHigh level knowledge and understanding of the local government framework, governance arrangements, best value and service improvement, risk management and key issues facing local government and public services.Good working knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework relevant to procurement, including EU procedures.Substantial knowledge of performance and quality tools and system used to monitor and drive higher standards within service.Detailed knowledge and application of the various methods for evaluating tenders.Excellent working knowledge in delivering service improvements and efficient and effective working methods in the area of FM, construction or maintenance management.
