Systems Developer - Business Systems Management TeamWould you like to join a financial services organisation that is flourishing and looking to improve their systems and processes We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Developer at our site in Glascoed.As a Systems Developer, you will be supporting the development, testing and delivery of processes for all systems supported by the Systems and Reporting Team. You will be responsible for the delivery of service, development and implementation of multiple IT systems to support the efficiency and automation strategy.This role will give you the opportunity to work in a dedicated specialist team to make real improvement to the business. This role could also lead to futer opportunities within the team or wider BAE Systems business.Your main responsibilities as a Systems Developer will involve: Supporting the development, testing and delivery of processes for all systems supported by the Systems and Reporting Team.Responsibility for the delivery of service, development and implementation of multiple IT systems to support the efficiency and automation strategy.Undertaking a range of duties - technical, administrative, and function-specific- across a range of systems including ReconNET, MyService (ServiceNow) ard Tagetik.Producing documentation to facilitate training and communication of new processesBeing able to understand complex issues and provide solutions to internal and external stakeholders or understand how solutions can be providedCollaborate with colleagues to ensure experience, lessons learnt synergyEnsure requirements are delivered in a timescale agreed with our stakeholders.Seek out opportunities for continuous improvement, including automation, process improvement and consumption management.Understand the need to engage with senior management as and when appropriate in order to report, obtain authorisation, highlight and escalate issues.Your skills and qualifications as a Systems Developer:Essential:Previous Experience of IT Systems DevelopmentPossess a high standard of competence in IT systems and financial awarenessStrong influencing skillsA systems focused individual who can develop new processes maximising the systems potentialDesirable:Experience of ReconNETExperience of PowershellWhat were looking for in you:You will be a flexible and adaptable team player that is happy to support and be supported by others within a small dedicated Business Management systems team.Location: Glascoed - The Glascoed site provides employees with access to an onsite gym, medical centre and free parkingSalary: CompetitiveBenefits: Our employees receive an excellent benefits package which includes a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
