Job Description

Purpose of the role:

  • To be a key business partner to the senior team and lead in the preparation of the monthly financial and management accounting function
  • Lead on the the statutory audit process, linking in with both internal and external audit partners
  • Ensure governance and compliance are adhered to with SOx, accounting standards and rules of business, and are in line with group requirements
  • Responsible and manage Capex applications and requests through to Group
  • Responsible for the provision of effective timely and accurate financial information being produced, providing insight and challenge to the team on financial and business KPIs and contract performance
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting cycles and ensuring that there is business accountability through the process
  • Support the Finance Director with their requirements and be a key lead in the preparation of monthly performance measures, challenging the business and driving performance.
  • Lead month-end accounting of results and responsible for management of balance sheet reviews, controls, provisions and reconciliations
  • Responsible for month end timetable and promotion of monthly results in line with Group requirements
2 days per week on site is required.
