An exciting opportunity has become available for a Machinst to work for BAE SystemsThis role will require candidates to be flexible to work different shift patterns including Early Shift, Late Shift and Night Shift.Candidates will also be required to follow strict protocols and adhere to health and safety regulationsJob Description· Competent user of a flatbed sewing machine · Understanding of sewing machine operations · Experience of sewing in a production environment (e.g. fast paced, target driven) · Knowledgeable on how to assemble fabric products · Experience with different types of fabric (i.e. sewing thick or coarse fabric compared to thin fabric) · Problem solving for issues encountered · Capable of following standard written procedures correctly · Ability to work in a team · Can be relied upon to carry out work without direct supervision · Initiative to raise potential improvements within the business Morson is acting as an employment business in relation to this vacancy.
