Job Description

Finance professional - Glascoed - Contract up to September 2021 - Up to £21.30 Umb or £16 PAYE per hourWe are currently recruiting for a Finance professional to support our clients finance departments accounts receivable function on a contract up until the end of September in Glascoed. This role would especially suit candidates with experience of working within an accounts department for large scale businesses within engineering, manufacturing, or FMCG sectors. This role would be especially suitable for part-qualified (ACCA) accountants keen to work for a globally recognised business.Duties:

  • Support the Accounts Receivable Team Leaders and deputise as the point of contact as required.
  • Understands how the team collectively work together in order to meet their objectives and works with the service manager to prioritise duties.
  • Support the development, testing and delivery of any new systems or processes
  • Support in the development of best practice solutions that meets the needs of the business in line with policy
  • Support Team Leaders with complex queries and aid with key stakeholder engagement where necessary. Skills and experience:
  • Be able to understand complex issues and provide solutions to internal and external stakeholders OR understand how solutions can be provided based on technical knowledge or previous experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, making own judgement decisions within their remit of work.
  • Fully understand the procedures which they are operating and be proactive in providing solutions to problems and supporting the wider team in developing solutions.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills and able to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility when faced with challenges or opportunities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas, data and results in an easy to understand format.
  • Willingness to grow system and process skills and experience.
  • Ability to flex and adapt in line with business priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to for meetings, workshops or projects.
  • Excellent team working skills including occasional leadership of project teams.
