Job Description

Club Description: The club is a friendly and thriving club situated just off Tooting High Street with over 600 members and is affiliated to the CIU. In usual trading times we offer members a regular timetable of live musical entertainment, bingo, sports, raffles and competitions.Salary: Depending on experience with full training and support given to the right person.We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy Steward/ Stewardess to provide our club members with a consistently high standard of front of house service, and maintain a clean, safe and secure club environment.The selected candidate(s) will be responsible for managing, planning and monitoring all aspects of running our club bar, and associated facilities including administrative matters, overseeing staff and should have extensive bar and cellar management experience.Reporting into the clubs committee, his/ her duties will include but are not limited to:- Keeping the bar stocked- Managing bar staff- Maintaining a clean and organised cellar- Ensuring all beers and beverages are kept and served to a high standard- Overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar and club facilities- Managing till operations- Managing the security of the clubThe successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to develop an additional catering income stream by agreement with the Club committee.For more information or for an informal chat about the role, please call Alan Boniface (Club Hon Secretary) otherwise all candidates should apply in writing by post or email, submitting a covering letter along with details of all relevant experience andan up to date CV to:Alan Boniface,Club Hon SecretaryTooting Conservative & Unionist Club12 Ashvale RoadTootingLondonSW17 8PW
