Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated School Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have experience with SIMS (School Information Management System) and must possess a current DBS check. This role is crucial in ensuring thesmooth running of our school’s administrative tasks.Starting Monday 15th April for two weeks - possible extension (8-4 OR 8.30-5pm) Day-to-day of the role:

  • Managing the reception area and acting as the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors.
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Utilising SIMS for various administrative tasks including data entry and management.
  • Assisting with the organisation of school events and meetings.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Supporting teaching staff with the preparation of documents and communications.
  • Managing student attendance records and reporting any concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a School Administrator.
  • Knowledge and experience working with SIMS.
  • Current DBS check.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
