Job Description

We are delighted to be partnered with our client, an established and highly reputable business as they seek to recruit a Sales Support Administrator to join their experienced and friendly team, within their offices in Uckfield.This is an excellent opportunity to join a small but busy team within a very successful organisation. This role is available due to expansion within the department and company. This role is purely supporting a sales team - you will not be responsible forsales or sales targetsSales Support AdministratorFull time permanent role - office basedMon-Fri 0900-1700Role based at Uckfield. There is free parking available on site and you can also find plenty of free parking on the roads nearby. The office is around 15 mins walk from the nearest mainline station.Salary - £24000-£25000 per annum plus very good company benefitsThis is an excellent opportunity to work within an established and successful organisation.Duties will include:

  • Being first point of contact for incoming communication via email and phone, be able to liaise with customers and answer all orders/queries in a timely fashion.
  • Receiving and processing of customer orders
  • Raising pro-forma invoices
  • Gathering prices and submitting them to customers
  • Maintain and update computerised records using CRM software.
  • Liaise with other departments to obtain information on incoming shipments from suppliers, production lead times and despatch dates.
  • Support the team with any other administration that is required
  • Booking consignment collections with hauliers.
  • Checking stock availability, production lead times to give customers correct information/despatch dates
  • Advising customers of any changes to their orders/despatch dates
  • Keeping track of all orders and making sure despatch dates are met.
