Job Description

About Us: Our client is a dynamic company committed to delivering excellence in their products and services. As part of their dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in upholding their high standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.Responsibilities: As a Quality Engineer, you will oversee various aspects of the quality assurance processes to maintain a commitment to excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating and reporting on all customer returns.
  • Developing and enforcing quality assurance standards in line with ISO9001 & ISO14001.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of incoming goods, quarantine items, and samples to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Driving corrective and preventative actions to address any quality issues and improve overall performance.
  • Reviewing and visiting suppliers to uphold the highest quality standards in our supply chain.
  • Monitoring and reporting on quality assurance testing.
  • Collaborating on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives where necessary.
  • Coordinating with purchasing to facilitate timely supplier returns and replacements/credits.
  • Providing approval for Engineering Change Notices (ECN)/Sales Order Entry (SOE) processes.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement projects to enhance quality assurance processes.
  • Offering support to other departments as needed and collaborating on additional projects with the QA Manager.
Skills Required: To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a quality assurance role.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001/ISO14001 standards.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on root cause investigation.
  • Proficiency in goods in/product inspection.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Trained auditor.

  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:45 pm; Friday, 8:30 am to 3:15 pm (39 hours per week).
