Job Description

Logistics administrator required to join a secure manufacturing company that has a global presence and offers excellent stability. The role offers variety as you provide support to a few different functions onsite and there is potential for futureprogression.You will mainly support the areas of logistics, export and production planning and be involved in both the export of finished goods (including all relevant paperwork and documentation) and the calling in of raw materials in line with demand from suppliers.The hiring manager is happy to consider candidates with experience in logistics, export or production planning functions.As the logistics administrator, your duties will include:

  • Facilitating export of finished goods globally including the arrangement of transportation
  • Ensuring all required documentation for export is acquired and correct
  • Coordinating with customs brokers and third-party logistics providers
  • Supporting production through the calling and coordinating of raw materials including ensuring they are entered onto the MRP system
  • Assisting with the overall execution and instigation of the production plan
  • Reconciliation of invoices from third-party logistics providers
  • General administration duties in support of the shipping and logistics department
To apply for the logistics administrator, you will need:
  • Experience in working in a manufacturing environment in export, shipping, logistics or production / materials planning functions
  • MRP / ERP system experience, ideally with SAP
  • Good knowledge of export / shipping documentation and processes
  • A degree-level qualification is desirable
