Job Description

What is the purpose of this roleA safe system of work planner is required to join the expanding Transformation project operational planning team. This is a great opportunity to work and develop within a planning team working with multiple disciplines to ensure the integration and safedelivery of programme works.What will this role involve

  • Produce safe system of work packs as required using ePIC and traditional methods
  • Request Line Blockages through GZAC system
  • Reporting to required KPI and standards
  • Able to work as an individual and build good working relationships across internal and external teams
  • System familiarisation of GZAC, PPS, ePIC
  • Good use of Microsoft packages
  • Process improvement
What are we looking forCompetencies required:PTSSSoWPlannerDesirable:COSSAbout AmeyDo you want to work on a high-profile project in the rail industry like Wales and BordersHere at Amey we support the multi-billion-pound contract to run the Wales and Borders train service and to develop the Cardiff Central Metro. We will work closely with TfW to deliver a new era for passengers and for Wales, with more services, newer trains,better stations and a more reliable network. We will continue to provide support to TfW Ltd in delivering key projects such as the introduction of new rolling stock and the construction of the £738m South Wales Metro (SWM) transport project, a planned multi-modaltransport system, which incorporates trains, light rail and bus services.
