Job Description

Location: PontypriddArtis are proud to be representing a leading food and drink manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products. There is now an opening for a management accountant to join the ever growing team. This role is on site 5 days a week. You willsupport the Financial Controller in monitoring and driving the financial performance of the plant.The Role- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.- Technical close in SAP.- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and financial targets.- Cost Analysis: Analyse production costs, overhead expenses, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability and cost efficiency.- Upload monthly accounts (P&L / balance sheet), and additional KPIs for group consolidation team.- Verify and align intercompany balances with management accountants of other plants.- Managing, reviewing and monitoring the cost accounting process to control current and future operationsThe Person- You are CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or studying.- You have minimum 2 years of relevant experience, experience in one of the Big 4 is advantageous- You have good communication skills- You have excellent knowledge of IT tools, including Microsoft Excel.
