Job Description

Ready to find the right role for youProject LeaderSalary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annum DOE plus bonus, time off in lieu, and travel allowance (£33.03 per day received for working outside the UK)Location: You will be based at Nantgarw, Cardiff with UK and overseas travelThis involves being away from home for a period of 4 - 6 weeks depending on the project and for 4 - 6 months per yearHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 5:00 pmWe live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to Resource the World.   • Responsible for field services operations from start to finish of all projects.
  • Hands-on supervision of hazardous waste operations at customer sites overseas and in the UK.
  • Inspection, packaging, handling, and transport of hazardous waste.
  • Assist in site surveys, job estimations, quotations, sourcing of equipment, and visits.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment, plant, and systems.
  • Develop individual customer-supplier relationships.
What are we looking for
  • Degree level or equivalent in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or Engineering discipline.
  • Chemist or Engineering background.
  • Project skills and APM (association for project management preferred, but not essential as training will be provided).
  • Health and safety expertise.
  • Experience in the waste management sector.
  • Team player and culturally aware.
  • Hazardous waste management qualifications are desirable.
  • Excellent communication and language skills (French or Spanish desirable).
