Electrical Build Technician£22,000 - £26,000 (DOE) + BenefitsMonday to Friday: 37 Hours p/weekPontypriddFocused Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced individual who has a proven track record of Electrical Build Technician success. The right candidate be an analytical thinker with excellent communication skills on all levels. You will join a fast growing and innovative manufacturer supplying to a range of industries worldwide.Duties and Responsibilities Include:• Assemble and wire electrical panels to support the build process of company products and industrial applications.• Identify defects and complete appropriate documentation throughout the build process. • Required to support in the testing, inspection and development of products to ensure functionability and increase and maintain company quality standards.• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.• Wire and solder harness, loom and cable assembles following company standards and procedures.• Build and install electrical wiring and connections to result in accurate and timely distribution of company products with minimum supervision.• Support in the development of products to improve design and quality of company products and procedure.• Support in the testing and inspection of installations to ensure functionability.Skills and Experience Required:Essential:• Level 3 or above in relevant subject, e.g. NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering.• GCSEs in English and Maths (A-C) or higher.• 3+ years experience panel wiring special purpose machinery.Desirable:• Competent understanding of engineering and workshop machinery.• Experience working with medical devices.This is a highly professional role where you will be a key member of the team.
