You will provide care for our young people throughout the day by supporting with set routines, attend to personal care and administer medication following appropriatetraining. You will work with the team to develop and deliver young person-centred plans in relation to their needs through ought the day. You will be planning and supporting the young person in taking part in activities based at the service as well as outin the community such as trips to the beach, theme parks, community-based activities and groups and various other activities in order to develop their social and life skills.We work directly with children and young people with complex learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We work in partnership with CAMHS LD and our own Behaviour Consultant to develop and deliver person centres support plans that offer consistencyand clear outcomes for all out young people.We firmly believe that behaviour is communication and work to identify what the young people are trying to tell us through their behaviour and support them to communicate that in a positive way.Working in residential care is both challenging and rewarding. Shifts are 7am- 2.30pm or 2pm9.30pm.
