Job Description

Radiographer | Imaging | Band 5 equivalent | Tollerton, Nottingham | Full TimeSpire Nottingham Hospital has a great opportunity for an experienced General Radiographer to join Radiology Department. In this role you will be joining a team that plays a vital role in providing excellent patient outcomes, whilst also giving you the opportunity to expand your own skills.Spire Nottingham Hospital is the only CQC Outstanding rated private hospital in Nottinghamshire and we are committed to delivering excellent individual care from the first time a patient contacts us until after their treatment is complete. Our state of the art, purpose built hospital located in Tollerton, has 42 private ensuite rooms, 4 theatres including a hybrid theatre, a minor ops suite in Outpatients, 11 day case beds, endoscopy suite, on-site MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound and mammography, physiotherapy, pharmacy and 300 free car parking spaces.Duties and responsibilities:

  • You’ll work collaboratively to deliver a high quality, professional radiographic service that adapts in line with new technologies and clinical developments
  • Make sound considered judgements and informed decisions on the imaging required and then provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients
  • Team working is a big part of this role, so successful working relationships with our Nurses, Physiotherapists and expert Consultants will be a defining factor in delivering the outstanding patient care we are proud of
  • In this role you will find you can quickly build your clinical knowledge by working closely with fellow clinicians and some of the best regional consultants
  • Who were looking for:
  • Current HCPC registration
  • At least 1 year experience in General Radiography with experience in x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres
  • Degree in Radiography or its equivalent is essential.
