Job Description

Business Development ManagerPermanent, Full TimeMondayFridayLocation: Field Based (North of UK)Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 OTE + benefits + car allowanceIt is an exciting time for our client and a fantastic time to join the company!We are representing a global manufacturer with offices all over the world and sales people that offer bespoke solutions for their customer base.If you are a well established sales executive, with experience in consultative sales, this could be the right opportunity for you.The business is going through a period of growth and due to their innovative and ambitious nature, they are extending their current product range. That is where you come inWe are looking to appoint a hungry, self driven person with the hunter mentality tojoin the team as an business development manager to cover the Northern areas of the UK.The role:

  • As a well established hunter, you will be given full autonomy within this role.
  • 4 days out and 1 day at home or in the office
  • Initially going out to visit existing customers to start the relationship - building rapport and trust whilst really understanding their business.
  • Understanding how customer needs could be further met in the very near future with the new product range that will be coming out.
  • Have the right conversations with customers to identify any opportunities that could be fulfilled without them going to another supplier
  • Fact finding from existing accounts
  • Continuing saleswarm and cold
  • Dealing with accounts of various values and revenue
Requirements:
  • You must have industry experience from one of the following areasAir movement, electrical motors, rotating equipment and/or HVAC
  • Previous role with proven business won and new business development
  • Experience of consultative selling
  • Being technically minded
