We’re currently looking for Band 3 Healthcare Support Workers to join us in the Urgent Care Pathway.The Urgent Care pathway is the first contact for people to have with mental health services especially when they are unwell. As a team we are looking for experienced Healthcare Support Workers to join our team. The teams all work closely together with CRT and the Urgent Care Hub. Our aim is for everyone who has contact with our teams to have a smooth seamless experience of care no matter which team they see.The TeamCriminal Justice Liaison and Diversion serviceYoull be joining a team who work together engaging people who are often at their most vulnerable. We support people not only with their mental health/learning disability but other vulnerabilities that cause them to come into contact with the police.The team is all aged and based at Keyham Lane police station; we work across the Leicestershire Police force custody suites, courts and we also offer a comprehensive outreach service to engage them throughout the process.The Role The service provides screening and assessment of those who come into contact with Leicestershire Police. The team is a true partnership and are co-located at Keyham Lane Police Station, there is an expectation that you will be flexible and work across the team in partnership with the police and other services. The team currently works 12 hour shifts on a rota basis over a 7 day week. There is also an expectation that you would be willing to apply and pass police vetting so that you are able to work autonomously throughout the service.
