Job Description

Are you an assistant practitioner or a senior healthcare assistant Then look no further, this might be your next role.Assistant practitioner role in the community based in Leicester

  • Mon - Fri - (8am till 5pm) - 37.5hrs
  • Salary up to £25,000 with a Car Allowance of £4250
  • Mileage and fuel expenses covered additionally
  • UK Driving Licence Required

Your role as an Assistant Practitioner
  • Deliver direct patient care in a safe and caring environment, assist in the induction, supervision and training of Healthcare Support Workers and trainee Assistant Practitioners and contribute towards project/ departmental and / or organisational growthand development.
  • Implement programmes of care and contribute to care plan modifications, undertaking risk assessments as directed and within the limits of own knowledge and competence
  • Undertake specifically identified administrative and clerical tasks associated with patient care which facilitate the smooth running of the virtual ward/department
  • Complete documentation accurately and contribute to reports of patients activity and progress, recognising that the qualified practitioner has personal accountability for entries to patient records made by others under their supervision
