Job Description

Job Title - Assistant Engineering ManagerIndustry - Automotive & TransportSalary - £42,000 - £47,000 per annumShift - Day ShiftLocation - LeicesterI am currently working with a nationwide Bus operator in the Leicester area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a qualified Assistant Engineering Manager.Requirements for Assistant Engineering Manager:

  • Previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor or Workshop Manager is essential
  • Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Car driving licence is essential, PSV licence is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective team management skills
Assistant Engineering Manager Duties:
  • Deliver high standards of customer service
  • Set and ensure KPIs are met by the engineering team
  • Assist with the training of apprentices as well as new and existing members of staff
  • Oversee preventative maintenance
  • Ensure Health & Safety is being adhered to at all times
