Job Description

inance and Payroll AssistantWe are working with a Wetherby based business who are looking for a Finance and Payroll Assistant to join their friendly team at their Thorpe Arch office. The Job
  • Processing & managing the entire Payroll & PAYE including employee salaries, wages, overtime & deductions
  • Managing year-end payroll tasks such as P60 preparation & distribution, generating reports & carrying out audits when required
  • Processing payroll for new starters and leavers, gathering necessary payroll & tax information such as P45’s & completing new starter checklists
  • Maintain accurate transactional and supplier data on Sage Line 50.
  • Manage the Purchase Ledger including entering invoices, balancing statements and entering payments
  • To support the Accounts Department Manager, during busy seasonal activity and covering for holiday and sickness:
  • Maintain the Sales Ledger including raising invoices daily and entering receipts
  • Liaising with relevant internal and external clients to ensure the timely and accurate execution of duties and best outcome for the customer.
  • Manage all elements of the credit control function, including payment processing and client engagement.
  • Maintain the debtor controls adopted by EPH including imposing credit limits and ensuring clients adhere to the T&Cs regarding payment.
