Job Description

We are assisting a creative business based on the outskirts of Wetherby in their search for an assistant accountant. Our client provides a bespoke end to end service from concept to physical product for a client base of household names.You will join a small finance team and deal with a varied role, managing transactional processes and assisting the FC with the month end.This role would suit somebody with a foundation of rounded experience gained within an accounts department looking to further their career by gaining a holistic overview of how an accounts function is run.Main duties of the role:

Maintain the sales and purchase ledger using Sage 50 accounts
Weekly bank reconciliation
Credit control and chasing of debtors
Weekly BACS payment runs
Cashflow forecasting
Assisting the FC with month end, accruals, prepayments, maintenance of fixed asset register as required
