Job Description

Join a vibrant and creative school that fosters a love for learning through innovative and dynamic teaching methods. Horizon Teachers are working with an inclusive Primary school based in Croydon, assisting them in their search for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their school on a temporary basis from January 2024 until the end of March 2024. Your responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with our creative curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Foster a love for learning by incorporating creative elements into lessons.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • BA Honours Degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
  • The ability to adapt your teaching to suit the individual needs of pupils.
  • Demonstrate creativity and a passion for innovative teaching methods.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
