Job Description

Senior Clinical PharmacistBand 7 (Full-time + EDC)Are you looking for an opportunity to develop and broaden your skillsDo you want to be part of a highly successful and innovative teamAn exciting opportunity has arisen at Croydon Health Services (CHS) for a dedicated and organised pharmacist to support the clinical pharmacy services team. Our Pharmacy Services are highly respected and our staff work closely with multi-disciplinary teams. If you would like to be a part of this successful, friendly, high-profile service, where the most important role is to ensure best quality patient care, we may have a job for you.The successful applicant will have previous hospital pharmacy experience, having provided clinical services to a variety of clinical environments. You will join a team of dynamic, senior, rotational pharmacists, gaining valuable experience across a number of clinical areas (for example, medicine, critical care, antibiotics, high cost drugs and oncology and technical services).Under the guidance of your lead directorate pharmacist, you will be introduced to core directorate activities of reporting and analysis of medicines expenditure, clinical governance and risk management. You will be responsible for co-developing pharmacy services and providing professional cover and training to junior pharmacists. Furthermore, the role will provide you with the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team where you can provide support for service development through projects, audits and education. You will be able learn from specialists and senior pharmacists to improve your knowledge and allowing you to attain the required skills for your personal development.CUH is a dynamic and forward-thinking place to work and our Pharmacy department strives for excellence in all that we do.
