The Executive Network Groups Logistics & Transport Division is currently searching for an Import/Export Coordinator/Manager on a permanent basis in KetteringIn this role you will have the fantastic opportunity to grow and take the lead on imports/exports with a fantastic, leading manufacturer of mounted access platforms who needs somebody to manage and maintain the import & exportation of goods & supplies in whatwill be a very important role for the business.Turning over in excess of £10 million per annum. They have gone through significant growth since the company launched with 30% growth this year in 2022 with a prediction of a further 40% growth in 2023.We welcome all applicants from candidates with a background in imports/exports and customs regardless of sector, and the salary potentially offered will be very much dependent on experience with the bracket below as a rough estimate on that.This role is to manage the import of booms and vehicles from France, Italy and Germany so experience of import and export of goods and relevant legislation/processes/customs is essential.Secondary, or primary languages in French, Italian and/or German in a business acumen would be incredibly attractive.Salary: £32,500 - £45,000 DoELocation: KetteringThe Import and Export Coordinator will be responsible for:

Entering import and export data into reporting software for HMRC for EU and non-EU countries
Ensure all import and export documentation is compliant with local and international legal requirements
Completing documentation for sea, air and road freight
Liaise frequently with customs agents, shipping companies and Global Trade Compliance
Provide updates to internal departments on compliance requirement updates
Manage commodity codes and ECCN
Perform internal audits and manage external audits for Import and Export compliance
Continuously work to improve processes
Liaise with customs brokers and hauliers over delivery of products
Complete monthly verification of exports made across the business, following up any discrepancies
Daily management of shipments internally and externally to ensure all queries are dealt with to avoid any delays

Skills and Experience

Must have good working knowledge of Import and Export documentation.
Native English with business fluency in at least one of the following languagesItalian/French/German would be very attractive
Knowledge at least one of sea freight, air freight and road freight, multimodal experience would be an advantage
Computer literateprevious experience on an ERP or MRP system would be advantageous
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confident and deals well with pressure in a fast-paced environment
