Job Description

My client is a supply business based in Tameside. Due to an internal promotion they are recruiting this role into their vibrant and expanding finance team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is in the early stages of their career and is lookingfor a position that will offer them variety and expand their finance knowledge and experience. As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for a variety of transactional accounting duties. This will include managing the purchase ledger from start to finish, processing high volumes of invoices onto the system, dealing with supplier queries and statementreconciliations and making payments, you will collect cash from customers ensuring a consistent cash flow into the business and avoiding bad debts wherever possible, as well as reconciling bank accounts and managing the petty cash. This role will suit a candidate who has experience in a varied transactional role and is looking to continue developing their existing skills and experience with a role that will offer variety and exposure to new accounting processes. The salary on offer ispaying up to £25,000 with a performance based bonus on top.
