Milk Education are currently recruiting for Outreach Workers in the Swinton area. This role involves working with students from varying backgrounds, with SEMH needs and esteem issues. You will be working with students that require the consistency in a familiarface and that require a role model who they feel they can build a strong relationship with. You will ensure their education is tailored to how they best learn and interpret. The aim is to support these students in confidence building, and help them to bridgeany gaps in their learning. This role will be based mainly outside of the main centre, in hubs and various other facilities. It will also involve going to collect the students from their homes and spending time supporting them with their learning within theirhome settings.To be considered for the outreach position:- Experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting- Experience working with children that have SEMH or behavioural needs- You must be able to drive and preferably have business insurance/or be willing to get business insurance- Strong ability to communicate effectively with students of different needs, ages and backgrounds- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to meet individual student needs- Reliable and consistentIf you are interested in registering for an outreach role, please send your CV to , call or submit your application via the form below.Applicants will be subject to variety of checks including: an enhanced DBS check, full references, including from your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
