Buying Assistant£20,000 - £24,000SwintonMy client is a friendly fabric company based in Greater Manchester who are now have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant to join their team.Duties include:Raising purchase orders and communication with overseas suppliers, you will continuously chase progress to ensure production and despatch dates are met whilst liaising with freight forwarders. Maintaining the flow of supply information between departments,you must liaise with customers regarding orders, stock and reporting and prepare weekly reports on stock/service for major customers with Production Director.The successful candidate will be a determined and organised individual, you must be able to rise to the challenge and work to tight deadlines often with conflicting prioritises. Excellent communication and time management skills are required, and you shouldalso have a strong level of IT literacy (Microsoft Office including Excel), a good eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure.
