Job Description

Sales Account Manager Having been an Account Manager you will be familiar with B2B sales and relationship building. In this role you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with existing customers who place orders frequently and providing customer service toany new and old client accounts. Your role will focus on securing sales orders for the company and keeping in regular contact providing proactive sales and customer service to around 100 accounts.If you enjoy speaking to clients on the telephone, via video meetings, email, live chat, and occasional face to face meetings as well as have experience in B2B sales then please apply!Start: ASAPLocation: Swavesey, CambridgeshireSalary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum + commission (OTE £30,000 - £35,000 per annum)Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pmDuration: PermanentBenefits: 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, commission based on sales and number of LTAs (Live Trading Accounts), Christmas shut down, BUPA healthcare after 6 months probationary period, summer and winter social events, free fruit in theoffice.Duties will include:

  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts
  • Communicate with clients on the telephone, via video meetings, email, live chat, and occasional face to face meetings
  • Develop positive relationships and promptly handle the customers requirements
  • Generate new sales by making use of the existing and potential sales networks
  • Resolve customer queries and handle their requirements in a timely manner
  • Monitor the sales metrics regularly
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Keep records of client transactions
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Sales orientated and experienced in Account Management
  • B2B sales experience is essential
  • Able to develop excellent product knowledge
  • Commercially aware
  • Positive and polite attitude
