Job Description

Salary: Up to £26,000p.a.Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pmHybrid working: Monday & Fridays from home.Company Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, company pension, employee awards, cycle to work scheme.Do you have a strong customer services backgroundAre you looking to work for a stable and experienced team with a friendly and supportive cultureThis is a great opportunity working as a Customer Services Administrator to join a manufacturing company based in Swavesey. Working as part of a small, friendly team you will be responsible for providing sales and administrative support to Sales Managers, working closely with new and existing customers to provide them withend-to-end sales administrative support from point of order.Duties and responsibilities of the Customer Services Administrator:

  • Communicate daily with Sales Managers on all general enquiries regarding key accounts.
  • Liaise with customers via telephone and email daily to understand current and future orders, stock requirements and stock forecasts.
  • Process customer orders and follow the whole customer journey from start through to delivery.
  • Effectively liaise with production regarding orders & despatches.
  • Understand and monitor all lead times given by customers and ensure full communication is given to all departments to achieve the required results.
  • Always provide a high standard of customer care, developing close, supportive business relationships with key customers.
  • Identify quickly and efficiently any customer complaints and ensure they are dealt with effectively and professionally.
  • When required, provide weekly/fortnightly/monthly data for our customers.
  • Liaise with the Finance Shared Services team to ensure all customers’ accounts are paid and that there are no outstanding disputes.
  • Communicate effectively with all other areas of the business as required including, Production Planners, Accounts and Sales to create a clear and concise process.
Requirements for the Customer Services Administrator:
  • Previous experience working within sales administration or processing of orders efficiently and accurately is essential.
  • A strong customer service background, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A calm, supportive and solution led individual.
  • Computer literate - specific experience of MS office in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
