Job Description

Production TechnicianSwavesey, Cambridge£21,000pa Monday to Friday 7am to 3pmAre you a Mechanical Assembler who is looking for an interesting and varied role Do you want to work for a world class manufacturing company who are award winners in their reputationAs a Production Technician you will be assembling Industrial Pollution Monitoring devices to a high quality for industries such as Pharma, Chemical, Food.If you have experience assembling mechanical products with strong manual dexterity and looking for a long-term role then this is the role for you!What you will be doing:

  • Working from production schedules and technical drawings
  • Completing mechanical assemblies in a timely manner ensuring this is to the highest of quality
  • The build will consist of wiring, soldering, drilling, tapping, crimping etc
  • Carrying out various tests and quality checks
  • Assist throughout the production areas
  • Provide the necessary information to support supplier returns of faulty products.
  • Provide technical feedback to help improve product Quality and support process improvements and cost reduction

What youll need:
  • Experience as a Mechanical Assembler
  • Experience in wiring, soldering, drilling, tapping, crimping
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings - mechanical and wiring diagrams
  • Strong manual dexterity
  • Time management and problem solving skills
