Material Handler £23,000 plus bonus and benefits packageThe Role of Material HandlerWe are looking for a bright and proactive Material Handler to join our clients growing team in Swavesey. If you are willing to learn with good organisational skills and with experience in warehousing. stock receiving or material management, then this may bethe role for you.Responsibilities for the Material HandlerYou would join a growing, busy but close-knit operations logistics team and, under the direction of the Stores Cell Leader, would assist the flow of materials to our various internal and external customers. This will primarily involve: Prepare parts for manufacturing replenishment and manage material flow to and in the Manufacturing area.Accurately transact all orders with relevant Netsuite transactions. Ensure pick face and storage locations are effectively managed to aid accessibility of materials.Working with an ERP system to ensure that everything you do is correctly transacted.Liaise with other internal departments including. Production, Cust Ops, Quality etc. to resolve issues when required.Ensure relevant work instructions and Quality processes are adhered to.Ensure all tasks are conducted safely and report any hazards, near misses or accidents.Knowledge of Warehouse management system (pick, pack and ship).Experience of using Netsuite or other Enterprise Resource Planning systems.Excellent communication skills both verbally and written, as well as good organisational skills.The ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.Demonstrable experience working to tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy.A positive attitude and good judgement skills.The Material Handler PackageSalary £23,000Bonus scheme25 days holiday plus bank holidaysFull non-contributory pensionPrivate healthcare The position is currently based in Swavesey, however will be moving to Ely in 2023For more details please contact Lisa ParsonsINDENG
