Job Description

Working in logistics and planning you understand how important organisation and customer service is, you most likely enjoy seeing a project from start to end and have an understanding of rules and regulations around international shipments. Your future employeris a manufacturing business who ship and supply their products worldwide, so you will be dealing with both internal colleagues and departments and external customers on a daily basis. Start: ASAP Location: Swavesey, Cambridgeshire Salary: £21,000 per annum Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm Benefits: 27 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, death in service scheme, cycle to work, on-site parking, canteen facilities and health & life insurance What you will be doing: - Updating the production plan and ERP systems - Keeping internal departments updated on changes to the production schedule - Processing sales orders - Reviewing and checking technical information within orders to ensure accuracy - Monitoring the work in progress and update the ERP system accordingly - Complete and update dispatch collection and tracking information - Liaising with freight forwarders and customers - Arrange collection of products and delivery of orders - Taking specific details for shipments and updating these on main carrier websites - Organise Certificates of Origin and Declaration of Conformity documentation - Report any issues within logistics to customers that may impact the service they receive What experience you need: - Excellent organizational skills - Computer literate with good experience of MS Office, including Word and Excel - Knowledge of international shipments is desirable - Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with internal departments and customers alike If you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
