An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Assistant to join a international business based on the outskirts of Cambridge. The organisation recorded record revenues in 2020 and have continued to grow in 2021 and 2022. The role will be worked on a part timebasis, around 20 hours per week, which can be worked across 3, 4 or 5 days. Within this role, you will report into the Finance Manager.As the Finance Assistant, you will be trained on and tasked with a number of responsibilities, including but not limited to:- Preparing Sales invoice for both UK and Foreign entities- Coding and processing purchase invoices and employee expenses- Assisting with month end processes,- Reconciliations of intercompany accounts- VAT returns- Additional ad hoc duties at the discretion of the line manager.Although training will be given, there are a number of attributes you will ideally possess in order to be successful, including:-Experience working in a similar finance position before, with ideally good understanding of double entry bookkeeping- Good system and excel skills- Self motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision- Organised with a proactive attitude to workThis role is an exciting opportunity for someone who has gained experience within finance and wants a role with autonomy. This role will be worked on a hybrid arrangement, with the majority of the training to be conducted in the office. The role is locatedon the western outskirts of Cambridge and has access to on site parking. Please note the salary listed is the full time equivalent amount.
