Job Description

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client who operate in a niche sector. They have a vacancy for a Customer Support Engineer to joint their time at their site based in Cambridge. The successful Customer Support Engineer will be working 60% of their time travelling to Europe, Asia and US providing high level technical support through customer onsite visits installing the companies products and assisting the customer with queries andproduct training. When not travelling, the Customer Support Engineer will work in the office in Cambridge providing internal customer support to customers and engineers. Further details on the role and working pattern will be explained upon application. Thesuccessful candidate must be fully flexible towards travelling and overnight stays.This is an exciting opportunity to gain a long-term career in a very successful established company who operate in niche industry offering travel throughout the world.Customer Support Manager Requirements:

  • Hold a mechanical qualification to NVQ Level 2 or higher.
  • Have a strong mechanical background.
  • Excellent customer facing skills.
  • Strong written and numeracy skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility for travel and overnight stays.
Customer Support Manager Benefits:
  • Salary is £38,000.
  • 35 hours per week, 09:00 - 17:00 when in the office.
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, additional week after 10 years service.
