Currently working on a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a leading business based in the north of Cambridge. Within this role, you will report into the Finance Manager. This role will be worked on a part time basis, ideally workingschool hours across 4 or 5 days.As the Accounts Assistant, there are a number of responsibilities that you will be tasked with, including:- All aspects of Sales and Purchase Ledger- Bank reconciliations and supplier payment runs- Preparing VAT returns- Management of Petty Cash- Credit Control- Additional ad hoc dutiesIn order to be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following set of skills and attributes:- Experience working in an office/accounts environment or looking for your first role in finance and happy to be trained- Studying AAT or equivalent and want to continue studies- Proficiency in excel and finance systems- Strong attention to detail- Excellent communication skills- Ability to prioritise workloadThis role is a great opportunity for someone looking to study or currently studying their AAT, and wanting to progress within finance. The office has a vibrant atmosphere to it and is best accessed via your own transport. Please note the salary is the fulltime equivalent amount.
