Do you enjoy problem solving and working with customersIs joining up operations, transport, and customers an area that interests youIf you are such a person who is interested in a Customer Services Coordinator role, we would love to meet you.We are working with a leading company within the UK Chemical sector, specialising in distribution of solvents and offering toll-manufacturing and associated bespoke services to industry.As a Customer Services Coordinator, you will join a busy, friendly and dynamic commercial team using best practice and facts to make key findings, recommendations and decisions, with regards to Health, Safety, Regulatory, Compliance, Quality and the Environment. We offer a competitive salary, benefits package and the chance to be part of a fast-moving company.Terms:* Salary: £Competitive* Location: Runcorn, with occasional travel required.* 12 months Fixed Term Contract* Position Type: Full-Time (35 hours)* Drivers license preferred.Essential Requirements: * Top performer who is comfortable in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, poise and strong analytical skills.* Strong multi-tasking ability* Ability to plan and prioritise workload, work under temporary pressure.* Strong Outlook email skills, and confidence with daily use of Word and Excel* Ability to deliver impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.* Structured thinking* Ability to exceed deadlines.* Self-starter* Excellent interpersonal skills and an effective team player* Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDesired Requirements:* Experience of working in a dynamic customer service role.* Experience of working in a busy, fast-moving commercial office environment.* Experience of working with CRM and Sage systems* Experience working at a chemical company or a chemicals distribution company.* Have a University Degree (BA/BS) in a field of study in science related degree.Responsibilities:* Liaise with customers, site operations and transportation with regards to supply chain matters.* Receive and place customer purchase orders on to our system and manage intervening processes through to delivery.* Support External Account Managers with customer information, feedback, observations, etc which may have bearing on future business opportunities.* Maintain and update customer information in the CRM.* When required, attend meetings with members of the sales team regarding customer special instructions, trends and product lines.* Daily communication with customers to update delivery schedules in parallel with stock availability.* Maintain and update customer-specific regulatory product files.* Coordinate new customer set-ups, in accordance with internal procedures.* Implement, progress and assist resolution of Customer Complaints in conjunction with the sales, operations and supply chain teams).* Support and coordinate the Business Unit via management of the incoming email inbox.* Any other administrative duties arising within the Business Unit.* Attend Division Sales Meetings and attend training as appropriate to widen personal knowledge of the business.Please apply with a well-presented and up to date CV.Key Appointments UK Ltd will assess your suitability for the role based on the information contained in your CV and application.
