Freightserve recruitment are looking for an experienced Internal Sales person for well established Freight Forwarder based in Swadlincote.Duties:-- Drive account acquisition, as well as best in class sales processes from day one.- Build a strong, sustainable pipeline and be prepared to carry out regular pipeline reviews, sales forecasts, and customer analysis.- Identify and target key strategic clients, seek out the key influencers and sell Air, Sea, Rail, and XPress products.- Understand our clients requirements through effective questioning, surfacing pain/gain opportunities prior to proposing and providing solutions that demonstrate the value of working with te company.- Go above and beyond to deliver amazing results and customer experiences.- Establish a strong internal network and engage with stakeholders to ensure success of new business and business retention.- Actively plan and co-ordinate your local area sales strategy, ensuring consistent and regular contact is maintained with existing and potential customers ensuring that operational and financial issues are resolved in a timely and efficient mannerSkills & Experiences:-- Minimum of 2 years solid sales experience, preferably in Air & Sea logistics with a medium/large Freight Forwarder.- Experience of working to and exceeding individual targets and generating own sales leads.- Proven track record in B2B Sales, with a strong focus on new business.- Ambition to excel in a thriving company and be self-motivated with drive, initiative, and a positive attitude.- Be proficient in MS products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams & Dynamics) tied with, good verbal, written communication and listening skills.- Enjoy working in a target-driven team environment and able to display excellent planning skills with the ability to see the bigger picture.- Be highly organised with a strong attention to detail and have a positive approach to various challenges.- A strong self-starter with the personal drive to achieve resultsAs an agency we are fast becoming the number one Freight specialist in the UK.
