Job Description

Location: Sutton Coldfield, West MidlandsSalary: £9.15/hourContract: Full timeShifts: 07.00-15.00, 13.00 -21.00 and 20.00-08.00Newbridge House is a specialist Eating Disorder unit in Sutton Coldfield, providing inpatient services to children and young people 8 to 18, and was recently rated as “Outstanding” by the CQC. We have a family-centered approach, recognising that effective treatment for a young person with an eating disorder must be fully inclusive and supportive of their family.Following an expansion of our unit, we are looking for additional Healthcare Assistants to assist our Nursing staff in delivering the care plans for our young people. You will have NVQ level 2 or equivalent, excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ideally a minimum of 12 months experience of working in a residential clinical environment is desirable. Working within a multi-disciplinary team, you must be competent to undertake basic physical observations and record these on our electronic patient record systems.We offer excellent training and development opportunities to our staff.
