Are you an experienced and qualified Nursery Nurse looking for a new challenge Do you have a Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent and a proven track record of leading a team of nursery practitioners Do you want to work in a nursery that valuesyour skills and offers you opportunities for career progression If yes, then we have the perfect role for you!Reed Education are working with a well-established nursery based in Streatham, London, and they are looking for a Room Leader to join their team. You will oversee one of their rooms, working with children aged 0-5 years, and leading a team of dedicated andenthusiastic staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that the room is run in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and that the children receive high-quality care and education in a safe and stimulating environment. You willalso be involved in planning and implementing activities that meet the individual needs and interests of the children, as well as observing and assessing their development and progress. You will also act as a key person for a group of children and liaise withtheir parents and carers on a regular basis.To be considered for this role, you must have:• A Level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent, such as NVQ, CACHE, BTEC, NNEB, etc.• At least two years of experience working in a nursery setting, preferably as a room leader or deputy.• A thorough knowledge of the EYFS framework and how to apply it in practice• A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.• A positive and flexible attitude, with excellent communication and leadership skills• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.• A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.The working hours for this role are shifts between 7.30am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
