Job Description

My client is a Multi-Academy Trust based in and around Stratford, looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join to the central finance team for several months.The role will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality finance advisory services to the schools within the Trust.Responsibilities:

Preparation of full monthly management accounts, with analysis and commentary
Contribute to the development of multi-year financial planning, cash-flow management, and fixed asset recording.
Full budget setting, management and periodic reporting on variances
Business partnering with senior non finance staff to offer any strategic insight and support on their financial decisions.

Requirements:

Substantive management accounting experience
Fully ACCA, Aca or CIMA qualified, (or advanced studier) required
Strong excel skills

The role is due to start imminently, due to a busy period of the year and could well be extended or converted into a permanent role. Education sector experience would be helpful, but is not deemed essential.
