Job Description

We seek a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver/Warehouse operator to join a well-established client in Southampton. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation in the warehouse. You must be physicallyfit, as you will be expected to get on and off the forklift to help manually load and unload goods from the vehicles.About You:

Will have a high awareness of health & safety
Be well-organised and self-motivated
Be physically fit, has good communication skill and be a team player
Has the willingness to learn and keen attention to detail is key
Must have familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory tracking software
Must have basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping

The key responsibilities of the role will include the following:

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely transport, load, and unload various materials, products, and supplies within the facility
Follow established safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to goods or property
Work closely with other team members to ensure site operations are safe and efficient and follow the correct PPE to comply with health & safety policies and procedures on site
To undertake additional tasks or duties as necessary from time to time to meet the businesss needs and any other reasonable request from the line manager
Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfil orders, locate specific items, and ensure timely delivery to designated areas.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, 08:00 am to 05:30 pm and on Friday, 08:00 - 05:00 pm

The pay rate is:£11.50 per hour - Monday to FridayLocation:
