Job Description

Lettings Manager/Co-ordinator South Woodford, East LondonCirca £25,000 - Salary dependant on experience An exciting opportunity has become available, to join an independent property sales and lettings agency in the heart of South Woodford in East London, that enjoys continued success and growth, even in these uncertain times and is now looking for an experienced Lettings Manager/Coordinator to continue its success in 2021.We are looking for an experienced Lettings Manager/Co-ordinator to join us and help deliver an outstanding service to all our customers, exceeding expectations and delighting them every on step of the journey when working with us.This is a real opportunity to join a growing company in the local market who have invested in superb work space, creating a positive and unique working environment for its people and its customers.What you will be doing…

  • Assisting the Director on a day to day basis with operational tasks across the business
  • Managing the lettings portfolio including dealing with maintenance issues and contractual matters
  • Liaising with contractors and tenants, organising and instructing works on behalf of landlords
  • Ensuring properties meet the current legislation requirements such as Gas Safe/Electrical certification, inspections and license requirements
  • Preparing new lettings administration files, from initial deposit, obtaining relevant paperwork, references, preparing contracts, inventories to key handover
  • Dealing with tenant renewals, notices and rent reviews
  • General administrative duties in the office
  • Greeting clients over the phone and in the office
  • Registering new applicants on the database
  • Booking appointments
  • Maintaining the current applicant database
  • What we need from you…
  • At least a minimum of 12 months lettings experience
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Personable with the ability to build rapport in person and over the phone with clients
  • Good IT skills (including Excel) and be able to type at least 45 words per minute and Ideally familiar with property software
  • Be well organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Have a full clean UK driver’s license
